Right of withdrawal and returns

Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for distance contracts. We extend this period to 30 days for goods eligible for withdrawal. The following instructions describe this extended right. Restrictive notices on other return or shipping pages affect neither your statutory rights nor the extension promised here.

Withdrawal instructions

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 30 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods. Where multiple goods from a single order are delivered separately, the period begins upon receipt of the last item; where goods are delivered in several consignments or pieces, it begins upon receipt of the last consignment or piece.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Dominik Klein, Dominik Klein Consulting, Auf dem Steinacker 1, 52391 Vettweiß, Germany, email: info@labgrownlove.de, telephone: +49 1522 3156091, of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement, for example by email or letter. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your statement before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs. This excludes additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us. Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment as for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; you will not incur any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.

You must send back or hand over the goods to Dominik Klein Consulting, Auf dem Steinacker 1, 52391 Vettweiß, Germany, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period expires.

We provide a prepaid return label on request for a free return. If you instead choose another shipping method on your own initiative, you bear its direct costs. We bear the risk of return shipment in connection with withdrawal.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods only if it results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Original packaging, a return number or prior authorisation is not a condition for a valid withdrawal. Please return any supplied accessories and certificates; no flat fee is charged solely for missing original packaging.

Statutory exception for individual custom-made goods

Under section 312g(2), no. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for goods that are not prefabricated and for whose manufacture your individual selection or decision is decisive, or that are clearly tailored to your personal requirements. This may apply in particular to individual engravings or personal custom-made items. Merely ordering through a configurator or selecting a usual standard variant does not in itself result in a blanket exclusion. The extension of the withdrawal period does not create an additional right of withdrawal for goods falling under this statutory exception. Rights in respect of defects exist independently.

Preparing a safe return

Please contact us at info@labgrownlove.de so that we can provide the free return label. Requesting a label does not replace an unequivocal withdrawal statement. Approval of the return is not required for withdrawal.

Please package your jewellery securely for transport and include the certificates and accessories supplied. Original packaging is helpful but not required. Where possible, use neutral outer packaging without references to jewellery or diamonds, and keep proof of posting. These recommendations do not restrict your rights.

Missing certificates do not automatically exclude a return or result in a flat deduction of €100. Any compensation for diminished value depends on the statutory conditions and the actual loss in value.

Discounts and cashback

Statutory withdrawal and defect rights also apply to discounted goods. On withdrawal, we reimburse the amount actually paid to us in accordance with the rules above. Participating in a cashback offer does not mean that we provide only store credit instead of a monetary refund that is due. Any claims for repayment by the cashback provider are governed by its agreement with you and do not affect your claims against us.

Resizing and defects

One ring resizing is free within 60 days after delivery. After this period, resizing costs €70. A ring that is too large can be reduced by one to a maximum of five sizes; a ring that is too small can be enlarged by one to two sizes. Please contact us to arrange this.

Statutory rights in respect of defects also apply to personalised or individually made rings. Immediate notification is not a condition for consumers to retain these rights. Resizing does not replace statutory claims for remedial performance or other defect rights.

Lifetime manufacturer guarantees already promised and repair arrangements remain unaffected. The content of an additional guarantee and the party against whom it may be claimed are set out in the relevant guarantee declaration. Your statutory rights in respect of defects against us as seller exist independently.
