Determine the perfect ring size – Here's how

A ring is more than just a piece of jewelry—it represents special moments and emotions. To ensure it not only looks beautiful but also fits perfectly, the right ring size is crucial. Here, we'll show you the best ways to find your ideal size.

Here’s how it works:

1. Print the file at 100% original size (no scaling).
2. Check the 8 cm control line to ensure the template is true to scale.
3. Place a well-fitting ring on the printed circles.
4. The correct size is where the outer edge of the circle aligns precisely with the inner edge of your ring.

Ring sizes range from 43 to 70 and are measured in millimeters (inner diameter).

2. Measure Your Ring Size Using a Well-Fitting Ring

Already have a ring that fits perfectly? You can measure it easily:
• Place the ring on a ruler or measuring tape.
• Measure the inner diameter in millimeters (e.g. 17 mm).
• Compare the value with our ring size chart.
Example:
An inner diameter of 17 mm corresponds to ring size 54.

3. Measure Your Finger Circumference (With a Paper Strip)

You can also measure your finger directly:
• Cut a thin strip of paper (approx. 1 cm wide).
• Wrap it around the finger where you plan to wear the ring.
• Mark the spot where the paper overlaps.
• Measure the length up to the mark in millimeters – that’s your finger circumference.

What Should I Consider WhenMeasuring My Ring Size?

Measure the Correct Finger
This may sound simple, but it's essential for an accurate result. Your ring fingers are usually not identical – one is slightly thicker or thinner than the other.
So before measuring, carefully decide on which hand and finger you want to wear the ring.
If it’s been a while since you last measured your finger, it’s best to take a new measurement. Finger size can change over time, so make sure your measurement is up to date.

Measure Multiple Times at Different Times of Day

Your finger size can vary due to several factors. In addition to pregnancy and medication, temperature has a big impact: your fingers tend to be thinner in the cold and thicker in the heat.

We recommend measuring your finger at normal room temperature.
Also keep in mind that your fingers are usually slimmer in the morning than in the evening due to circulation.

So take measurements several times at different times of the day, and calculate an average value for the most accurate result.

Tips for Accurate Measuring

• Measure your fingers in the evening, when they’re slightly swollen.
• Avoid measuring when your hands are cold – fingers shrink in lower temperatures.
• Your ring should slide comfortably over the knuckle without being too loose.
